how does one describe 8 days of everything?

I returned from the 8 day Churchill trip tonight, one day early, but not a moment too soon. The trip was like a lovely savory slice of pumpkin cheesecake, with whipped cream and a strong coffee on the side, and I enjoyed it to the point of maximum enjoyment and then pushed the plate away before I took that bite that has your gut regretting the whole thing...

it's a new day

My little brother Dave got married yesterday. It was an experience I am finding hard to put to words. All went as it should really. There have been few occasions of people coming together in such a calm fashion - and what a great time everyone had! I do not beleive that there has ever been such a calm and peaceful bride and groom. Excellent food, good visits and plenty to drink. I enjoyed the new relatives and their sense of humor too. Gretas aunts and uncles spent a while trying to set me up with her grandpa! They really thought it was hilarious, and so did he!

I would like to descrie futher the details of the day so that I can remember it foreer, but I don't thinik that anything says it better than "it was meant to be and now it is". Some things in life really do work out! I wish that Ramona could have been there, it was real soul food, and I know she would have loved it.
